Strictly speaking, the Tauferer Ahrntal consists of two valleys. Right between the Tauferer Tal and the Ahrntal there is the imposing Taufers Castle complex, the setting for the filming of the children’s film series “Burg Schreckenstein” and the model for Polanski’s “Dance of the Vampires”. Experiencing local colour and unforgettable experiences is best done at the Kirchtag, which is celebrated throughout the Pustertal valley. This is also the case in M\u00fchlen.
